Our client requires a general ledger developer to join its Group Finance department to carry out analysis, design and build of amendments to the current Walker chart of accounts.You will join a team of 6 developers responsible for translating financial management requirements into account coding structures, developing the General Ledger in line with the existing financial systems strategy and designing solutions in collaboration with reporting analysis and consolidation teams.The successful candidate will possess previous experience of requirements analysis for a large organisation or plc,knowledge of Chart of Accounts design and experience as a systems accountant in at least two project lifecycles of finance systems implementations with emphasis on design, configuration and implementation of financial and management information systems for a general ledger.Knowledge of IFRS and Walker*Cedar Financials is desirable-A great opportunity to work for a major financial services institution.
